Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
QRectly (hereinafter referred to as "the Application") is a non-exclusive digital product offered by Bismit Maciej Bis (hereinafter referred to as "Bismit").
Bismit is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information through our iOS application and our website.
Definitions
qrectly works without an account, and we do not require personal information to use its core features.
Camera input. To scan codes, qrectly needs access to your device camera. Camera frames are processed on your device to detect codes. We do not store images from your camera or transmit them to our servers.
Scan and creation history. Codes you scan or generate may be saved as history. This history is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to us, unless you choose to back it up through a service you control, such as iCloud.
Support correspondence. If you email us, we receive the information you include, such as your email address and the details of your request. We use this only to respond to and resolve your inquiry.
Diagnostics. We may collect anonymized, aggregated diagnostic and crash information through [Apple's standard reporting / your analytics provider] to help us identify and fix problems. This data is not used to identify you.
02 How we use information
We use the limited information described above to:
- provide and maintain the app's features;
- respond to support requests and feature suggestions;
- diagnose technical issues and improve stability and performance.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build profiles about you.
03 Camera permission
The camera permission is used solely to scan codes within the app. You can grant or revoke it at any time in iOS Settings → qrectly. If you revoke camera access, scanning is unavailable, but other features continue to work.
04 Links & third-party content
A code you scan may contain a website address or other content created by a third party. Opening that content is your choice. Once you leave qrectly, the privacy practices of those third parties apply, not ours. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites or services.
06 Data retention
Scan and creation history remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to address your request and for reasonable record-keeping. Diagnostic data, where collected, is retained in aggregated form.
07 Your choices & rights
Because most data stays on your device, you remain in control:
- clear your scan and creation history within the app at any time;
- manage camera and notification permissions in iOS Settings;
- depending on your location, request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold (such as support correspondence) by emailing us.
Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA respectively. We honor applicable requests and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
08 Children's privacy
qrectly is not directed to children under [13 / 16, per your jurisdiction], and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
09 Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information under our control. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be highlighted within the app. Your continued use of qrectly after an update means you accept the revised policy.
11 Contact us
